Please exercise extra caution when driving in and out of the community, especially during dawn and dusk when deer are most active.
Tips for Safe Driving:
- Stay Alert: Keep an eye out for deer crossing signs and reduce your speed in areas where deer are commonly seen.
- Use High Beams: If driving at night, use your high beams whenever possible to spot deer from a distance.
- Be Prepared: Deer often travel in groups, so if you see one, there may be more nearby.
- Brake Safely: If a deer suddenly appears in front of your vehicle, brake firmly and stay in your lane. Swerving can lead to more severe accidents.
